Photography
This body of work focuses on observation, composition, and light. The photographs document moments of clarity found in buildings, people, and everyday conditions.
Early in my architectural education, I struggled to find the tools needed to document my work as it developed. With limited resources, I purchased an entry-level camera, a Nikon D3300, modest by professional standards, but capable enough to push me beyond what a phone could offer at the time. Through use and necessity, I learned to work within its limits, and in doing so developed a growing interest in photographing people, places, and buildings.
What began as a practical need became an extension of how I record the world around me.
